I haven't really heard many people say very much about how our country has changed significantly this past week when we became a socialist country after the government bank take-over. So many of us who think too much perhaps about doomsday scenarios still are shocked that the take-over happened under Republican rule and we fear McCain's proposal ( Read more... )

Even if Christian never calls you "Mama", which I think he will, the hand of the Divine is so evident is placing him with you and Jeff. The best parents are not necessarily those of biology - the heart is much bigger than that. You aren't his "adoptive" mother. You are simply his mother. That is all that matters.

Thank you so much, Natasha! I didn't expect to see you comment here. "L" I'm pleasantly surprised though. Actually, I had received a rather rude comment here before from a so-called "friend" and logged in tonight just cringing because I just assumed the rude comment I deleted was being re-sent. I'm so glad it was a very nice comment from you of all people instead! I do so enjoy hearing from you, especially since your words always accompany truth. In other words, "the hand of the Divine" always makes certain I hear the words I'm supposed to hear and that I believe them too, since I pretty much believe what I hear from you.

Thank you again and Happy birthday! I'm sure I'll tell you on myspace too. I always think of you too, since you and Jeff share your big day!

I pray things are well with you, your J, and your fur babies.
prayers and love,

Day

I completely agree with what Natasha said (big surprise eh?). You are his mother from the day he was born and I'm sure Christian knows that he is so blessed knowing how much he is loved by both you and Jeff.

Oh and I'm so guilty of watching 90210. I'm really bothered by how skinny all of the girls are though. IMO they look kind of sickly.

Thank you too so much, Tara! I *know* I am his mother. It's always been something I know as much as I know who God is, who I am, or anything else I'd proclaim to know, perhaps even more so. My son deserves a mother and it's up to me to be that. If I don't, there's no-one else who will. I'd never let him down. It's just sometimes other people's words get jumbled up in my mind and mixed together with the autism possibility, all of our adoption related insecurities seem to re-surface. It is an emotional rollercoaster of fight and feeling. Still, even more so, it's worth every bit of the heartache because so much joy overcomes every bit of the pain ( ... )
