To tell you the truth, I could not imagine my child being that old and having never been away from him. It's the same with Becca(Asher's 8 months old) and seriously, I'm not sure how you guys do it. I love my kids all, but...

It probably helped that we lived with my parents, so it started out small, like "We're going to Starbucks for a few hours", then went to "We're going to larp and will be home at 2 am" to being away for a night, to being away for weekends, long weekends...

Once it gets to be a couple of nights, though, I do miss them. We've never been from Colin that long, but Jack has stayed a couple of times with my parents or Tim's parents when it's been 5 days or so. Then I get all "I miss Jack" and Tim laughs at me. In a good way :-)

Hi! I have been in house land for days and days and it's scary 'cause I haven't checked my mail in almost a week. Arg! We so need to be done. Do you want to help me paint tomorrow evening after work at like 6:30 or 7? I would love the help but I would love the company more. Of course, don't even think about if you're busy or anything. I love you with cherries and chocolate and sprinkles, even!
