received my FA midterm results back today.

it was a tragedy. and now the prof is requesting to discuss with me....
it's a very nice gesture, but i'm not sure what i would like to go through with him when i thought i knew everything.

just read this short but thought-provoking article by Our Daily Bread's author/founder(?).
basically, its asking whether Christians today are reading the Bible differently... do we merely see the Bible as a history book, or do we read and digest it, acknowledging that the Word has the power to transform us?

there are so many overachievers in SMU and it's really really daunting.
lately i've been thinking about my plans for the upcoming Summer hols (haha, i'm only at Week 4 and i'm thinking about Summer hols!!!)
it's not cause i'm slacking... but rather, i know its gonna be my last LONG HOLS and so i wanna make it count.

i gotta admit that i do feel slightly worried/anxious when my good friends at Uni talk about their future aspirations and internships and scholarships etc etc etc.
i've even considered graduating later just so i don't have to enter the horrifying competitive rat-eat-rat marketplace.
