More money = more money issues

The good news is that with my first real paycheck, I was able to pay rent, fix the car, pay two months' worth of bills and late fees, and go out to eat with Forest a few times and see a cool movie. Budget. Keep track of where the money is going. If your catching up on stuff you are behind on, it takes a while to catch up. Took me a good 6-10 months to get out of credit card debt once I was able to start paying it down. The moths won't last long if you don't increase expenses.
Sounds like you paid off quite a bit already and have another pay check coming soon. You will get there.

I hate the fact that I'm now making more money than ever and I've still got moths in the wallet. I keep telling myself that this is temporary, that we won't get behind on bills like that ever again, that we've only got one or two really big expenses in the next couple of months and then we're good.

But this morning, looking at my online bank information, I'm both disappointed in where I am right now as well as impatient that it's not better already.

Little things add up when you have money for them. Like actually putting meat in your spaghetti. Or not having to starve if you accidentally forget your lunch. And paying off your bills. Don't worry, you'll get there.
