I'm not posting it to my journal for several reasons, some of which I am certain only make sense to me. They're also tied to the same reasons I almost never respond to "Ask questions about me" or "A memory about us" memes, and why I keep almost every post in this journal public and not private

I have a similar tweak about the family thing. Family and Friends are each distinct and special relationships

It also has something to do with not always responding well to requests to "prove" one's affection. I don't even think that's what this is, but things like "Do this to show how much you like me" always gives me the knee-jerk reaction of "Or what?"

The family/friend relationship is one I'm willing to blur, but there's only one person whom I feel can request a demonstration of my feelings, and she's sitting right next to me.
