I will miss your grandmother. She was nothing but kind and accepting to me.

Regardless of how you feel about the afterlife, I can tell you this -- all of what is the best in your grandmother is reflected in her grandson.

Isaac, you have my deepest condolences for your loss-- especially one so obviously great. She sounds like an amazing person- a rare and beautiful soul. Someone who you are so very blessed to have had in your life.

I'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner- I'm as bad at keeping on top of LJ as ever lately. I feel like a jerk and a terrible friend, though, for not being here to offer care and support during what had to have been a terribly painful time before her passing on.

Sorry I didn't get this out earlier. I just got back from vacation the other day and am in the process of getting caught up on LJ.

Just wanted to offer my condolences. Despite how many times we tell ourselves how natural, unavoidable, and even necessary death is, it never quite eliminates the sting. I wish you the best in this difficult time.

Mike

Sorry I didn't get this out without Forrest's prodding. Neither Dan nor myself really experience grief when someone has gone from our lives, so we tend to forget that most people do, and that it is a very strong emotion. We are very sorry for your loss and if there is anything we can do from out here, just let us know.
