The Watchmen was as good an adaptation as I could have ever hoped for. Sure, there were changes and tweaks here or there, but none of them struck me as making the story worse. A couple of the layers of the story were excised because the movie was only 3 hours long (or nearly) and couldn't handle everything, but the lack of these layers did not
