I was so fucking jealous of her. Everything about her I was jealous of, the life she lived, to the job she had,her apartment, her body, her tattoos, her cool friends that all dressed in the same style as her, her fucking hair, the places she had gone, to the fucking little pets she owned. Read many of your items with interest. It's just plain hard to be an ISTP woman. In just about every way, it goes against what is still "expected" of women, and we're in the minority. That, in & of itself, can trigger some anxiety, esp. if you don't have enough people supportive of you being you. (In my case, certain life circumstances have me living a lot on my shadow side---been nearly 18 years now, and that can be just nearly crazy-making.) Like the Diet Coke thing---my addiction is Diet Pepsi, but only from the fountain. My hardest, hardest,hardest thing in life is dealing with large pools of women in work or volunteer situation. Even though I don't keep up with sports like I used to or the mechanical things I used to do in the military, I still have a very "guy like" way of processing interpersonal groups: to me, one of the highest virtues is not gossiping about me & I think I should get "cred" & be thought of as a pretty good person for not gossiping about others---doesn't work that way with women.
