Dear Mister Belimai,
While I did mention a brief thank you in the tome's back pages, tis only proper that you should have a formal thank you note, sir.
Once again, thank you very much for the watch; I have worn it several times already when not suited up for an outing, and I must compliment you and your daughter on the fine design and workmanship. Tis something I could very easily see myself wearing for many years to come, and handing down to the next generation as a valued heirloom.
The rum ball recipe was also much appreciated, and I shall have to pass it on to my sister so that she might make it (I confess that I am sadly deficient in the higher qualities of cooking; my meals shall forever remain in the realm of the merely adequate.).
In any event, I trust this note shall reach you speedily, and I remain,
Respectfully,
I.B.

Dear Miss Kal,
My apologies for the delayed response; I very much appreciated the cookies that you sent, as they were delicious. Tis my hope that your Winter Veil holiday was an enjoyable one, and that you and yours are well.
Respectfully,
I.B.

Dear Mrs. Gregaine,
I am indeed in good health, safely ensconced in Stormwind as I am; your concern is appreciated. Although I must admit that I share your concern over the departures -- rest assured that if I should come across a Surwicher, I shall endeavor to do my best as is permissible within the bounds of courtesy.
On a slightly different topic, thank you for the very thoughtful gifts, lady; the scarf has already served me in good stead as a fresh snow is already falling here. And the first aid kit shall come in useful against the inevitable, as I am as yet unsure of the circumstances where next my strength of arms should be called upon. I have made sure to include the kit in a safely padded corner of my pack, as well as the inkpot. (Although I have taken the liberty of having a small unbreakable spell placed upon the container, for prudence's sake.)
Finally, the Gilnean Black. Tis a beverage that I thought I should not taste again for a very long time, and so tis doubly welcomed, not only because tis a gift from one accounted a friend. Thank you most sincerely.
I remain,
Respectfully,
Isandare Blackwell.

Dear Miss Alaia,
I trust that your Winter Veil has gone well? I must say that I was quite pleasantly surprised when I received gifts from one Miss Alaia while I was spending the holiday in Darnassus; as it turned out, the innkeeper at whose institution I regularly lodge discerned the nature of the package and took it upon himself to send it on, in the spirit of the season. Imagine the sentiment that beat within my chest when I beheld the embarrassment of riches that lay within!
My nieces were most eager to help retrieve those pearls that escaped the box when opened, before they could be lost behind the furniture or beneath Spooky's paws, while my sister wished to quiz me most keenly regarding the identity of the sender. (Rest assured that your identity remained safe from prying eyes, in the best interests of maintaining family peace. While my sister works with Cenarion Circle druids who might happen to be members of Horde races, I am uncertain as to her precise opinion on those who should follow paths not druidic in nature.)
Upon reviewing your sketch, which I dare say is a fine one indeed: the necklace does flatter most wonderfully, lady, a result for which I had hoped when creating it. Tis curious to think, also, that I might now be able to say, 'there goes Miss Alaia', knowing your appearance, if I might be so bold. I shall have to see about some sort of reciprocity if it might not go amiss with your gentleman, although I can hardly flatter myself that I should cut such a fine figure.
Over the course of the holiday, my nieces took the liberty of proceeding to amuse themselves by sorting the pearls by color and by grade; only to mix them entirely again before essaying forth into arcane and mysterious organizations by some logic known only to small girl-children. Before I quitted Darnassus, I am pleased to share that I was able to sit with the oldest and demonstrate to her how, precisely, one should go about the business of drilling holes in pearls for stringing upon wire or thread. She is likewise pleased with the new pearl ear-bobs that she made herself (with some small help from yours truly).
In closing, you have my thanks once more for the food and the pearls, and little Alia's thanks also; she extracted a promise from me to pass along her gratitude most faithfully, which I have now done so. I shall continue to hope for the continued well-being of you and yours.
I remain,
Respectfully,
Isandare Blackwell

Dear Miss Glimmergear,
Tis most flattering that you took the time to examine the earrings in depth; I shall treasure your professional verdict regarding them, lady, if I might be so bold.
I do not mind in the least the gift of tea, as tis a beverage that I find to be very nearly universal in its appeal to the various races I have encountered in my travels, although there might be vagaries of flavor that are unique to one's preference or another. In any event, a cuppa of the Telredor tea served as a very pleasant accompaniment to the books that you sent.
Tis my suspicion that my old tutor, were he still among us, might have been very interested indeed in learning of the intricacies of Dwarvish stone lore, as I do not remember Mister K---'s study holding many translated books despite the fact that he was a most inveterate reader. Regarding your credit in the field guide, my congratulations; that is no mean achievement.
Spooky also sends his thanks for the toy, or he would if he were not attempting, once again, to extract it from beneath the wardrobe. I must say, he seems to enjoy it very much as my boots have remained unmolested ever since he received it. Tis a sign of high approval, indeed.
Likewise, I shall trust that you remain well, lady.
Respectfully,
Isandare Blackwell.
