I will definitely check those out. I'm more of a one-night stand kind (i.e., icontests) of girl right now than a long-termer (LIMS, year-long commitment, land comms) until I know for certain that I am done with my hiatus but that looks really intriguing.

My stumbling block on Star Trek has been that I know best the original series (I didn't have a television while most of the other series aired) and the TOS cap quality I've found has been sucktacular. I should look again for caps and see if anyone has made better ones since I was looking to fulfill a help_japan commission.

I used TrekCore but then I found Trek Caps (she used to have all of them in zip format but when megaupload went down...) at least the caps are still available in the gallery.

Oooooooooo! Blue Ray caps!! THANK YOU for that link! I'll have to play around and see if I can figure out how to do them justice. The soft focus and pop colors are certainly a departure from SPN coloring -- I can't wait. Thank you!!

p.s. I was burned in the MegaUpload debacle. I'd been DL'ing caps for years and finally decided it was stupid to wade through the pop-ups and ads and that I should pay for a membership. Literally two days later, the site was gone. Doh!

Hee! I despair sometimes because they have these hunky, fit, gorgeous guys and then they pile on 3, 4, 5 shirts, a jacket, maybe a coat, baggy jeans...they look like blobby rectangles once they're all duded up. So when I get an opportunity at a single, form-fitting shirt and a view up those mile-long legs? I'm totally there. :)

p.s. Notice how good I am not to mention that "undressed" in bed equals a t-shirt neatly tucked into his jeans, socks, AND his watch?

If it's any consolation, that life I was busy living away from the LJ window was not in any way exciting save one feature: I adopted two dogs, a puppy and his papa, from rescue. I named them, but of course, Calvin & Hobbes. :) Everything else? It sucked. Big donkey balls.

Ah, I am unfamiliar with the current Hawaii Five-O. Pity that...
