"Ohayou Gozaimasu." Ryosuke opened the door of his house to see a well-dressed Yuto smiling brightly at him. He was wearing khaki short pants with an aquamarine shirt and a pair of brown vans. His hair was a bit messy but he still looked good and very handsome in Ryosuke's eyes.
"Un Ohayou. Do you wanna come in for breakfast?" Ryosuke offered and Yuto couldn't say no because he was indeed hungry. He was in hurry he might be late.
"I cooked breakfast." Ryosuke added as they were walking inside the house. Yuto looked very happy upon hearing it and started to get all jumpy.
“And Yuri helped.” Yuto came to a stop just by hearing Yuri's name and of course Ryosuke was oblivious of this.
"Maybe I'll just wait in the car. You enjoy your breakfast." Yuto was about to make a run for it but Yuri's voice stopped him.
"Don't worry Yuto, I won't poison you and I don't bite. I'm your FRIEND deshou." Yuri's voice sounded very sweet and it wasn't the nice kind of sweet but rather the annoyed with a hint of mischief kind of sweet. Yuri even emphasized the word FRIEND just to remind both of them about last night's conversation.
"O-okay." Yuto walked back and entered the dining room and was met by an elegant looking breakfast. His jaw drop just by looking at it.
There was a stack of pancakes on each plate with butter and maple syrup on the side. French toast could also be seen being set on the table. And you could have a choice of fresh brewed coffee or Earl grey tea.
"Sugoi." Yuto was still standing in the open staring at the Food on the table.
"Don't just stand there. Sit down and eat." Ryosuke grabbed his hand and made him sit beside his.
"Even the utensils sparkle!" Yuto said as he grabbed a spoon and looked at his complexion in it.
"Ryosuke does work for a 5 star hotel so he learns from the best to serve the best." Yuri explained and Yuto just nodded his head. Ryosuke was a bit embarrassed of how Yuto was appreciating all his efforts. It made feel all bubbly inside and I was very nice and warm feeling.
"Itadakimasu!" They said in unison and started eating their breakfast.
"Oishii!!!" Yuto commented.
"Arigatou." Ryosuke replied softly. His cheeks were decorated red all of a sudden.
They continued on their wonderful breakfast and after it for the first time Ryosuke helped Yuri in cleaning up.
"You're just doing this for show aren't you?" Yuri said in a whisper so that Yuto wouldn't hear them. He looked at Ryosuke
and he was blushing as he nodded his head.
"We'll be going now! Bye bye Yuri-chan! " Ryosuke said as they were walking towards Yuto's car.
"Un. Take care." Yuri replied. He then grabbed Yuto's shirt from the back pulling him behind.
"Take care of him or else." Yuri whispered to Yuto. His voice was sorta threatening and his facial expression was sweet but threatening.
"Y-yes sir." Yuto swallowed a lump and then Yuri released him from his grip and bade the two of them farewell.
They arrived at the amusement park in 20 minutes top. Yuto being a gentleman opened the door for Ryosuke to get out. He even extended a hand to help his.
"Arigatou." Ryosuke took his offer but he didn't expect him to hold onto it. This made Ryosuke blush and his heart raising.
"Actually I sorta lied to you." Yuto said as they were walking inside the park.
"What kind of lie?" Ryosuke got very anxious and nervous. He started trembling but held it in since Yuto was holding his hand.
"I'm working today. The company wants me to visit this place for new ideas to input. I know you were looking forward to this and I just ruined the moment. Gomen ne." Yuto looked at him and there was sadness in his eyes at first but after Ryosuke felt really relieved. He was worried Yuto doesn't want to be with his anymore.
"Daijoubo. I really don't mind. As long as I can be with you nothing matters." Ryosuke was smiling so brightly at Yuto. What he said just sent him to cloud nine. He was daydreaming about everything Ryosuke said and it made him blush a deep red. As soon as he snapped out his trance, Ryosuke was nowhere to be found anymore.
"Ryosuke?" He called out.
"Yuto! Kocchi!" Ryosuke called out from afar pointing at something. Yuto followed his hand and saw a rollercoaster ride.
"You wanna ride that?” Yuto asked as soon as he caught up to him.
“un.” Ryosuke was acting like a little kid and nodded his head.
“Okay then. Why not.” Yuto pulled Ryosuke to the queue and Ryosuke got all giddy. He was so happy he got to ride this. He never has been to an amusement before so this was such a great experience for him especially that Yuto is here with him. He was daydreaming of having lots and lots of fun with Yuto but something woke him up. It was a death defying shriek.
“Eh?” Ryosuke looked up and saw this massive rollercoaster ride that was as high as the Tokyo Tower (in his sight that is).
“Why are we lining here? I wanted to ride the tea cups!” Ryosuke thought in his mind. They were getting near the entrance and Ryosuke was glued to the ground. Actually, the teacup ride was beside the rollercoaster ride. It was quite small so Yuto didn’t recognize it and thought that Ryouske was pointing at the rollercoaster ride.
"Ne, what about we not ride anything like that." Ryosuke said. His voice was shaky.
"Eh? It would be a waste if we don't! And you chose this ride didn’t you?" Yuto explained. He was very oblivious to what Ryosuke was saying. The tickets also included all rides to be free and Yuto thought it would be a waste not to use it since it was free anyway. He knew it was Ryosuke’s first time so he wanted to create great and unforgettable memories with him.
"O-okay." Ryosuke gave out a sigh. Yuto was right about the tickets being such a waste if they don't use it but then again he is terrified when it comes to rollercoasters or anything that goes really fast and really high.
Through two of them were lining up and the shorter the line gets the more anxious Ryosuke becomes. He tried breathing in and out and started shaking. His palms were sweaty and he kept on moving from side to side or he keeps on tapping his foot on the ground.
"Are you that excited that you can't stay still?" Yuto said in a chuckle. Ryosuke had this are-you-serious expression but at least he stopped shaking.
"Yeah. You could say that." He just replied casually.
The two of them were next in line and just time to be the first one to enter the coaster.
"Let's ride in front!" Yuto dragged Ryosuke to the front seat of the coaster and Ryosuke turned even paler than before. He couldn't protest because nothing came out of him. His voice was completely drained. They fastened their seatbelts and in a little while the coaster started moving. Ryosuke's grip on the bar handle was very tight that his knuckles turned white.
3 2 1 GO!
"Aaaaaahhhh" the ride was moving but they weren't at the climax of it. Yuto looked at him confused but he let it go once they were at the top. The coaster stopped at the top and Ryosuke felt it. He opened his eyes and what met him was a 100 feet drop. Before he could close his eyes again the coaster started moving 100 km/hr.
"Tatsukete!!!!" Ryosuke screamed from the top of his lungs. His eyes couldn't close anymore. The trauma of moving 100 km/hr. on an all direction moving coaster just made all his nerves stop moving and his heart beat rising as fast as the coaster.
"Aaaahhhh... tanoshii!!!!" Yuto on the other hand was screaming in delight. He was very fond of scream machines and he would love to ride every single one of them and today was a great day for it.
Yuto didn't know that Ryosuke is already crying beside his because of screaming and he was very much enjoying the thrill of the ride. At one point the ride started moving slow again. Ryosuke thought it was already over but it was far from it. The coaster was moving up again and it was a 150 drop. He even turned as pale as a sheet of paper. Ryosuke did the only thing to set off his mind about this. He started singing.
"Jumpin’ to my dream~" he started off. But as he was about to get to the next line his worst nightmare came true.
The coaster was even faster than before and his scream was even louder than before. This time Thank God that Yuto noticed it. He looked beside him and Ryosuke was crying and almost wailing out for help. He held his hand and this made Ryosuke look at his. He gave his hand a tight squeeze and a small nod.
Ryosuke has forgotten everything about the moving death trap afterwards. They were just staring into each other’s eyes and Yuto giving a sweet look of assurance. They didn't even realize that the ride was already over.
"That sure was Fun!" Yuto was walking in front of Ryosuke and he stretched out those numb muscles.
"Yeah Fun." Ryosuke kept on looking at Yuto from behind. He doesn't know why but he feels great protection from him.
"Good day sir! Here is a commemorative photo of your ride!" A girl walked up to them and gave them an envelope. Yuto took and gave a small bow as a Thank you.
"Look! We have a souvenir!" Yuto waved it in front of Ryosuke and as soon as Ryosuke was beside him, he opened the envelope and the two of them looked at the picture.
"Eh?"
"Nani kore?"
The picture they caught was when Ryosuke and Yuto were looking intently into each other’s eyes. They looked at the photo and blushed.
"Oh look there are two copies." Ryosuke said as he scanned the inside.
"That's great." Yuto replied. Ryosuke returned the photos inside the envelope and three two of them exited.
There were a lot of people walking on the streets of the park. Since it was a Saturday families were seen taking pictures, couples would be seen going out the tunnel of love and you can even spot high-school students having their field trip.
"A lot of people today huh." Yuto commented as they were walking on the packed street.
"Uh huh." Ryosuke replied.
"Itai." A guy ran in between Ryosuke and Yuto and he didn't even say sorry.
"What a rude guy, right Yuto-kun?" Ryosuke said as he soothed his shoulder. There was no reply from Yuto. Ryosuke looked beside him and found no sign of Yuto.
"Yuto-kun?" He called out but no one answered. He looked around but he couldn't move that much because of the number of people.
"Yuto-kun?" He called out even louder. He tried going back but the people behind his were pushing his to move forward. He moved to the side and found an empty bench. He used it to look for Yuto. Ryosuke stood on the bench and stretched his neck to widen his vision. After 5 minutes of calling out for him and looking for him, Ryosuke decided to sit down for a while.
He went down the bench but unfortunately lost his footing and ended up face first on the ground.
"Itai." He hissed in pain. His forehead, elbow and knee had scratches. As he stood up pain shot up from his foot to his entire body.
"ITAI!" this time it was louder. Good thing he managed to sit on the bench. Ryosuke looked at his foot and it was swelling. He tried touching it and he hissed in pain.
"Now what?" He sighed. A few moments later his phone rang.
"Shimata! I forgot I have my phone with me!" He face palmed as he fished his phone inside his pocket.
"Moshi moshi?" Ryosuke answered.
"Yokatta! Where are you? I've been trying to call for an hour already." Yuto said on the other line.
"Gomen I forgot I had my phone with me." Ryosuke replied. He told him where he was and in a couple of minutes Yuto was already right in front of Ryosuke staring at his swollen foot.
"It's nothing. It's just me being clumsy again. Don't mind it." Ryosuke explained how it happened but Yuto was still quiet but then suddenly tears were streaming down him face.
"If only I looked after you more then we wouldn't have been separated and you would not get injured. This is all my fault." Yuto tried to wipe the tears on his face but they still kept on falling. Ryosuke managed to stand up on one foot and cupped Yuto's face.
"Thank you for worrying about me and finding me." Ryosuke showed him a very warm smile. Yuto cried even harder because of Ryosuke's kindness. He hugged him tight and buried his head on Ryosuke's shoulder.
"Gomen." Yuto said. Ryosuke just hugged him back and ran his hand on his hair.
Yuto cried for a good 3 minutes then returned back his composure. He offered to carry Ryosuke and that he must not protest. Ryosuke thought he would give his a piggy back ride but instead Yuto swept his off his feet and carried his bridal style.
"N-nani? There are a lot of people." Ryosuke protested but Yuto didn't mind the people. Ryosuke was much more important than all of the people combined and because of embarrassment Ryosuke hid his face on Yuto's chest and kept on saying 'baka' at him.
They exited the park and went to Yuto's car. He set Ryosuke inside and even put on his seatbelt then he rounded to his side and started the ignition of the car.
"Yuri's gonna kill me for this." Yuto said on their way to Ryosuke's house.
"I know." Ryosuke just giggled.
It was already night time and Ryosuke was sitting by the window looking at the stars that shined so brightly in the sky.
"Ne Yuri?" Ryosuke called out. Yuri just came out of the shower wearing his pajamas and a towel hung on his neck.
"Nani?"
"Why didn;t you get mad when Yuto-kun brought me home like this?" Ryouske asked. Yuto was really anxious when they arrived. He still carried Ryosuke bridal style even though they were already there.
Yuto saw the door opening and met his eyes with Yuri and he felt that he was stunned. Yuri's eyes went back and forth to Yuto and Ryosuke and Ryosuke's foot. Yuto felt that his whole existence was being beamed away from the way Yuri was looking at them. He was getting himself ready for the worse but all he heard was a thank you and it surprised him completely.
"I saw his devotion for you." Yuri answered his question. He settled beside Ryosuke and looked out like what Ryosuke was doing.
"His devotion for me?" Ryosuke didn't quite get it. What devotion did Yuto have for him? He didn't even understood where Yuri pulled out the word devotion in this situation.
"His devotion. The passion and selfless affection to you and most especially his dedication to you." Yuri explained further and Ryosuke had became confued further too.
"You'll understand in one day."
