"Gomenasai!" Yuto bows down in front of a still raging Yabu. He missed practice yesterday because of the incident and their practice was for the upcoming concert. Missing just even one day pulls them back. Tanya wasn't saying anything but just kept on glaring at Yuto trying to find a punishment for him but then again, Yabu was too kind to punish him.
"Aahh! Wakatta. Just tell me the reason why you skipped yesterday?" Yuto snapped his head up and his jaw dropped. He didn't realize that Yabu was going to ask this because he was too busy daydreaming about Ryosuke yesterday.
"I-I-I was umm I woke up late." He tried reasoning out. He can't say that he met Ryosuke yesterday. He promised him he won't tell the members yet.
"So you slept the whole day? Until the afternoon?" Yabu wasn't buying it one bit. There is something Yuto's hiding and it was perking Yabu's interest. You couldn't expect someone to sleep the whole day like as in the whole entire day. Yuto was a mess but he never missed practice.
"Can I go now Yabu-kun?" Yuto starting to move away from Yabu to avoid being questioned again. He doesn't want something unnecessary to say or something he shouldn't say slip out from his mouth. Yuto would keep distance to avoid that from happening. Yabu was still second guessing but they already wasted one day of practice so he let Yuto go.
"Arigatou, Yabu-kun!" Yuto smiled as he left. Yabu was very surprised. For the first time in two years Yuto finally smiled and Yabu has really forgotten how he looked like when he did. It really brought back those memories when he and Ryosuke would always be together. Yuto was smiling everyday during those times.
"Yabu? It's time to practice." Kei called him out from afar. Yabu snapped out of his trance and jogged to where the rest of the members were. He said some small instructions and then they all started practicing.
Their practice went on smoothly; everyone was doing their best and everyone felt a very light feeling around them. It was like a heavy burden covering the place has been lifted and it was just so easy to move and they felt so free. It was such a nice and warm feeling. JUMP was all smiling today. In two years this was the first time that they were actually enjoying and not just forcing themselves to work.
After practice Yuto approached Yuya who was currently fixing his stuff, almost ready to go home.
"Takaki-kun, can I talk to you?" Yuya turned his head to the side looking at Yuto and gave a slight nod. He straightened up to talk properly to Yuto. He was actually surprised when Yuto wanted to talk to him. Maybe he was gonna fall about their incident a few days ago. Yuya was actually scared that Yuto might go berserk once again.
"Etto, about the incident a few days ago..." Yuto started off saying with this serious face. Yuya was getting scared by the second. The way Yuto was talking was so slow and Yuya was totally afraid of what was coming next but he did not show it in his face. He remained cool and collected outside but inside he was ready to burst any minute.
Yuto bowed down until the upper part of his body was already bent. Yuya jolted a little by Yuto's action but then he realized what Yuto was gonna do.
"Gomenasai!" He said sincerely. Yuya's jaw dropped a little. It was the first time in two years that Yuto apologized for the trouble he had caused. Yuya was still caught up in his trance and Yuto was still bowing down. It went on for a couple of awkward seconds until Yuya noticed that Yuto was still in that position.
"Ah! Daijoubo. I was also at fault." Yuya scratched his not so itchy nape awkwardly and gave a stifle laugh just to loosen the tension. Yuto lifted his head up and showed a happy and relieved smile. Just like Yabu, Yuya was also surprised of Yuto's smile. It has been a long time since Yuya has seen such a smiling Yuto and he really missed those times. Yuya couldn't help but to smile back and ruffled Yuto's hair.
"That's because you're such a trouble maker!" He locked Yuto's head in-between his arm and playfully strangled him and ruffled his hair some more. Yuto was tried braking free but he was laughing at the same time too. His laugh was also nostalgic to Yuya.
"I can't breathe anymore! Takaki-kun!" He was saying it in between laughs. Yuya let him go with one last messing with Yuto's hair and gave him a pat on the shoulder. "I'm glad you're back." He said with a smile. Yuto gave a slight nod and also returned the smile.
The two of them exited the jimusho together and then they parted ways. While Yuto was walking a sudden vibration from his pocket halted him. He fished his phone out and looked at the caller. He smiled after knowing who it was.
"Moshi moshi? Ryosuke?" Yuto said after he pressed the answer button.
"I'll be waiting in the CD shop." He heard Ryosuke say on the other line. The smile on his face never fades. It even got wider as the ended his call with Ryosuke. Just hearing his lover's voice felt like heaven already. Yuto really can't wait to meet him and give him a big hug and a kiss on the lips. While walking to the CD shop which was only two blocks away from the agency Yuto kept on whistling a happy tune. The was casually greeting strangers on the street and giving them high fives. He was such in high spirits.
Yuto arrived at the shop and opened the door, the bell rang on top of it and various heads turned towards Yuto and he gave a wave of his hand to everyone. The people also replied with a casual bow and went on with their businesses. Yuto tried to look for a certain brunette by stretching his neck out and scanning the whole place. He spotted one by the Johnny's section of the shop and a woman was accompanying him. Yuto approached him and saw him listening to some music.
"Nee-chan." Yuto called out to Ryosuke's sister who was beside him browsing some CDs. Yuto realized Ryosuke's head snapping towards his direction so it meant he heard him too.
"Yuto?" He asked. Yuto walked towards Ryosuke and blew air on his ear making Ryosuke shiver. He then caught Yuto by the hand and playfully whacked his head.
"You know how sensitive my ears are!" He scolded Yuto but he found an angry Ryosuke very cute and very amusing to watch with those furrowed eyebrows and a little pout.
"Hai hai. Gomene." Yuto messed with his hair and landed a kiss on Ryosuke's cheek.
"Ehem. This is a public place so if you could just save all that lovey dovey moments of yours somewhere private then it won't be a problem." Chihiro scolded the two love birds and Yuto just gave him a sheepish smile. Then after she left the two of them who will be having a small evening date strolling in the park. Ryosuke was holding on to Yuto for guide.
"Yabu-kun didn't scold me that much." Yuto started out a conversation.
"That's good. Did he have follow-up questions?" Ryosuke knew Yabu would not only scold them. An interrogation would always come right after. Before it was the both of them that Yabu scolds for skipping practice. One time they had a sleep over in Ryosuke's house and they had so much fun that it burned them out and resulting to waking up late the next day. Yabu punished them by making them do 20 push-ups and 20 sit-ups while singing the song for their latest single. They were out of breath right after.
"Yes he did. He always does. But it wasn't that many unlike before that he would interrogate is for the whole day. " Yuto answered back. They kept on leisurely strolling until suddenly someone from behind called Yuto's name.
"Yuto! Hey!" Yuto turned back and saw Yabu running towards him.
"Speaking of the devil, here he comes running." Yuto said without realizing something very important.
"Who is it Yuto-kun?" Ryosuke asked him. "It's Yabu-kun. What?! Were have to run Ryosuke!" Yuto carried Ryosuke bridal style and ran with all his might. Ryosuke was caught off guard with his sudden action but he had to hold on tight so that he won't fall.
Yabu was still chasing Yuto occasionally calling out his name. Not a lot of people were in the park so Yabu could still keep an eye on his back. Yuto ran out of the park and blended in the busy streets of Tokyo. He looked back to see if Yabu was still around. When he saw no sign of Yabu he slowed down his pace and they turned in to a small alleyway.
"Yuto, who was it?" Ryosuke asked as Yuto set him down gently ln the ground. Yuto tried to catch his breath first before replying. "It was Yabu-kun. " he said between pants.
"Eh?! Where is he now?" Ryosuke was nervous about it. What if Yabu finds them and he'll know that Ryosuke is not missing anymore. He wasn't ready to face everyone yet.
"I don't know where he is but I think we lost him." Yuto looked back on the street and scanned it. After making sure there was no sign of Yabu he gave a big sigh of relief.
"I think you need to take back that sigh you gave out Yuto." Yuto jolted in his place and as he looked at the left he saw Yabu who was panting and drenched in sweat. Yuto had this fear in his eyes. He was scared of what Yabu will do to him because he ran away from him and he's also afraid that Yabu might see Ryosuke.
"Yabu-kun! I didn't know you were here?" Yuto tried acting dumb but of course Yabu knows better.
"I kept on calling your name and you just looked back and ran away! Do you know how many people I've bumped into must to catch up to you?! " Yabu moved towards Yuto with an angry expression and an angry tone. Yuto kept on backing away but he didn't have enough space to move anymore. While Ryosuke? Well, he is still glued on his place trying not to make a sound. He can't move because he doesn't know where they are or what his surroundings is. He might just topple everything in the end.
"Why did you have to run away anyway? And who was that guy you were with that you even carried him with you? Oh Hi Yama-chan. I was totally embarrassed infront of a lot of people because of you and-" Yabu stopped his rants and turned his head to the side slowly. His mouth was slightly gaping and he looks like he stopped breathing.
"Yama-yama-yama-chan?!" Yabu's eyes widened and his jaw dropped on the floor.
"Konichiwa Yabu-chan! Hisashiburi ne~" Ryosuke stifled a laugh while Yuto felt like he was gonna evaporate in the air.
