LOUD ASS FROGS!!
So all weekend we had two Northern Cricket Frogs near our pond, making an incredibly load rawkus at night. I was sitting in my room, in the basement, on the computer working when I started to hear this really load cricket like noise. It was really close to a cricket, but not as high pitched. one of my earliest is staying at my great-grandmother's house in miami. she was like 95 at the time, i was about 5. we were there for about a week, in which time one or more frogs laid like a gazillion eggs in her pool which then hatched in to a trillion tadpoles, which my cousins then spent the remainder of the week fishing them out of the pool so they wouldn't wreck the filter.
