But I have good reason. I haven't really written anything. Last year the only fic I wrote was for het_bigbang and I haven't even gotten around to posting it here yet. The reason for that... well there are a few. If you don't want to hear me waft on I understand but I feel the need to get everything off my chest at the moment

I know that after my mother passed away, at first all I could remember was her final weeks and days. Later, I remembered further back, but always after she'd gotten sick. I nearly broke down in tears in the lunchroom at work the day I first remembered something that happened long before the cancer.

By all means, remember him in better times. That will be a good thing, and he would want that for you.
