Well, can't confirm it, but it looks like "Ghost" was a stolen and modified prototype Dueling Robot called a "Riding Roid".

Doesn't help that some terrorist was apparently using it. And a smart terrorist at that...

"Supposedly". Its deck was gone and its hard-drive wiped clean when we got to it.

Pretty much. I'm betting on it being a terrorist cell or a Human Activist Group gone nuts. I figure if it's the former, it's militant Americans, Australians, Chinese, or Koreans if it's not home grown.

Regardless, the case is officially closed as being a Riding Roid that took its orders badly. :/
