FORGIVE THE EDIT. I'M A DUMBASS. tofuinthesky March 2 2009, 21:59:37 UTC
That's what I did. I just made sure nobody lived in there before. You can always get a pet for the ticking. That's why I got Carrot.

Why are you peeping on people?

LMFAO no it's okay bb IT'S OKAY iseedeaddads March 2 2009, 22:05:40 UTC
Pets really help with the ticking? Some other chick on the network got a cat to help with it, but I pegged her as crazy. Or just lonely.

It's not really peeping. Long story, actually.

It did for me. I don't know if it does for all animals or just for ones that can talk. Either way, Carrot was good for conversations as long as he didn't use curse words.

Then what is it?

1/2 i actually didn't notice anything fishy. WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT ME iseedeaddads March 2 2009, 22:12:04 UTC
You got yourself a talking pet?

You could come stay with Nate and I. There are a few extra rooms in our apartment, and living with someone deals with the ticking most of the time.

[ooc: Sorry for the delete, but I meant to say that I assume they met because Karolina invited them both to dinner. :x]

You sure about that, Ted?

I'm not exactly an easy roommate.

[ooc; no it's cool, I envisioned them already having met because of the dinner too. AND LMFAO lj glitches, teddy's pullin a firefighter costume there, buddy. looking good, looking sharp. 8)]

So long as you don't make too much of a mess and don't... blast music at 2am or something I'm sure it'll be fine.

[ooc: augh Starrah told me the other day and I forgot to reup it. Better now? Well, perhaps not better, but...]

I'll be on my best behavior, dad.

[ooc; fixed now! a shame though, he makes a good firefighter. 8D]

You just take an apartment. If you're over eighteen and an upstanding citizen, you pay rent. If you're over eighteen and clever enough to jack utilities, you squat for free, but I never said that.

The same things to do anywhere else are here to do. Read magazines and sleep until after noon.

I don't know what you are you, but if you touch me stuff I'm gonna start getting shitty for serious.

Upstanding citizen. Nice choice of words there.

So your shitiness up till now was just an act? Consider a job in acting, you're pretty good at ticking people off. But hey, I'm pretty sure I didn't go near your place.

Pretty sure.

They exist. Shocking, I know.

Hey, I'm shitty, but you're the thief or peeping tammy or whatever. Admittedly, ticking people off is a skill I've worked many years perfecting.

Why don't you just ask people for stuff, you little klepto? God, you remind me of someone I grew up with.

See and here I put them on the same level as fairies and leprechauns.

I am not a thief. Or a peeping tammy--who the hell uses that phrase anyways? What are you, fifty?

I didn't take much and I sure as hell didn't take anything valuable. You're preaching to the wrong choir here, old man.

Punching somebody out might be a little conspicuous. I think you can just find anywhere that's free.

Old habits die hard?

Yeah, I think I got one already. Ted's a pretty cool guy.

I'll take the pass ticket on that one.

Okay....how about a job, then? That's what I did.

Why work when you don't have to?

Unless you're not a kid?
