Even though I still don't have a knack for magic---despite how they keep telling me I'm chock full of it--it is what I'd wanted, though not in the same manner I expected. I don't think they likely teach magic at Stall High the way Christopher does, but this seems like it might be better----even though his self-assured attitude sometimes makes me ( Read more... )

That's what Mr. Amos calls us---or, that's what he's instructed us to be, but it's not all bad. I think I much prefer being living furniture than living something else if it helps me avoid the countess....

If you ever need help, Conrad, please don't feel like you can't ask. Truly you do have magic, but sometimes things can happen that make you not know about it. Christopher and I didn't know about ours for the longest time, and I was using it!

I suppose if you say so---I know Christopher says so too, and that sort of makes me happy because you would both know better than I do, and I always had wanted to learn it, really...or have, rather. What knack have I got though? Maybe a hands-on approach will be more effective...

It's not so great a thing, really, and Christopher's already told me how things settle with Gabriel.

We only know better because we've been learning longer. You've just got to study and try your best.
