So. They also remade the Prince of Persia videogame. So now it's a video game of the movie of the video game. It's like a vicious cycle where it only gets whiter as it goes along. . .

A crappy Hollywood game based on a movie about an actual game. FAIL.

Pretty much. I am mystified as to why they did this to a game that was a) already a game and b) AFAIK had a pretty substantial following ( IT'S WHY IT WAS MADE A MOVIE, RIGHT? ) except to make it have Jake-the-Persian as the main character \O_o/

-- I should say, I expected a boost of promotion for the already-made-games not the creation of another game.

Like a multipack or something, yeah. Just...you have to know it won't ever compare to the ORIGINAL GAMES that were made TO BE GAMES. WHAT IS THE POINT? Do these tie-in games ever really sell that well?

I should note I've never played the series, but I remember playing a demo of it once and thinking it was pretty.
