After last year's MFM, I kind of made a vow that I wouldn't attend MFM again, feeling as if I had got the shaft. Through most of the year, I took the hit to my character and partially never recovered. I stood broken, battered, and bruised ( Read more... )

Bridges you can't rebuild weren't really bridges in the first place, but wishes. There's value to knowing where you really stand, and it's OKAY if you get along differently with different people.

Was happy to see you there this year. Like most cons I attend, I was working so much I didnt get to spend much time with my friends who are not working with me on staff. I look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Yeah, I know. I was all over the place at the convention, trying to reconnect with people, so I understand.

BTW: Thanks for coming by on Sunday night. I got a bit of bad news and wasn't feeling too good that evening.
