just a simple question.. anonymous November 27 2008, 03:15:52 UTC
you say that you have already lost hope in the Philippines, i even recall you say that you would rather go away from this country.

simple question, how could you help the country with this kind of state of mind?

if i would move it up a notch or on a more personal stance... with that kind of thinking can you yourself carry out your "plan of actions" even at the minimum level?

Hey jo! difficult question, simple answer, difficult to carry out...

True, I rant too much about how this place is going down the drain and we must find people that are more genuine, more self-sacrificing to serve this country but the answer to your question is.. right now, why not start with being aware?

As students nga naman diba, what else can we do but be educated about what is it really that this country needs. it's by starting to know muna what's wrong then take a few little steps out of your comfort zone... sabi nga sa theo class namin, it;s by living in such a way that you are aware of the problems around you that true change and a want to help emerge.

haha ang habaaa... anyway, as for the leaving the country part, there's a much more personal reason for that hahaha :p hindi naman dahil ayaw ko na sa pilipinas. ;)

This is a really insightful entry. I think the system should really be the one to blame. It will be very difficult to change it but then knowing that people like Mr. Robredo exists, one can believe that there still is a shred of hope for the Philippines.

kahit people cant be like Jesse, at least get the same mentality he has.. actually, everyone is capable of doing great things, but the thing is, not everyone knows that. Just make sure that you have good intentions..

as for leaving the country? its not a bad idea, but having the reason that you think our country is useless.. its BS..

@jo ..plan at a minimum level? watch the news, read the newspaper, VOTE this 2010. it may not seem enough to make an impact but believe me, it will.. someday.
