A few weeks ago...

a question was asked that received a short, comical answer and then was promptly brushed aside. A brief moment of ugliness just occurred that made me want to ask this question to you all because though the previous answer did hold some truth, there has got to be something else contributing to this.

seriously though. I know it can be amusing but sometimes it's unnecessary and like today, it was completely unnecessary. iono...maybe I just let people rain on my parade too easily...

I think we're insecure. And we're always judging/comparing ourselves to other women, either trying to make ourselves feel better or prove a point to ourselves.

I think you're right. It's just so unnecessary sometimes and though I'm guilty of it, I just wish it wouldn't happen at all because it gives us that stigma of being catty bitches.

It is unnecessary. I'm guilty of it too, though I don't have the guts to do/say it out loud, so most of the time I just think it in my head and then probably get a really ugly smirk on my face.
