Does anyone else ever have reactions like this? I apologize for having to quote this, but I found it so interesting.
Edit: Given Val's response, I guess I should explain this more thoroughly. This was a quote (from a female) when we were talking about how aware people are of one's own gender.

I thought there was some kind of in-joke that I wasn't getting. Plus, as I've just noticed, it's in a different color when you wrote it, but my friends page text is that same color, so it didn't look like a different color.

In general, I don't think of myself as a gender at all.
