Sooooooo bored.

I thought maybe I'd take the night off and do fun stuff. I have no idea what that fun stuff is, but in the meantime I am so horribly bored. I really need to stop doing this to myself- even homework is less boring than nothing, right? I guess I'll try really hard to do homework, in the hopes that it will allow me to have fun at other times

I was bored, so I got an old videogame that I'd played before and played through it again. That's why I'm up at 5am.

Was it Pokemon? I sort of want to play Pokemon again. Maybe I'll play Pokemon Gold finally... since my Japanese wasn't good enough to play it when I tried the last time.

Nahh, it was one of those adventure games by Dreamcatcher. I keep playing new Pokemon games via ROMs so that I don't lose my caught-em-all status on the actual games. I'm still catching-em-all in Ruby. I think I'm going to get the japanese version of Leaf Green when it comes out.

That reminds me. It's easier to play a game you don't know the language if you don't know a whole lot of that language, rather than if you know a first-semester's amount. When I played Ruby in Japanese, the hardest part was remembering the names of the Pokemon, because I already had a preconceived idea of what the names should be. Now, I still think of the Japanese names of the new pokemon when I play in English (Wingull is Kyamone, Shroomish is Kinokoko, Seedot is Taneboh, etc etc :)
I think I'll play it again in Japanese.

Oh, yeah, my point. My point was that I struggled only with the plot elements, and only a little bit, because most of the plot elements were English words. All the Pokemon games start out the same, so I didn't try to translate every single sentence correctly.
