I find that to be a little weird, but it's OK too I guess. I tend to make my own color associations, at least with the light primaries, so I like what came out. I think:
Red symbolizes anger and violence (maybe raw passion is here too... definitely blood imagery though)
Green symbolizes love and imagination (I admit that I got this idea after watching Amelie too much)
Blue symbolizes peace and happiness (because blue makes me happy and calm)
I'll try to come up with the first thing I think of when I think of other colors:
Yellow is brightness. I guess that comes from when you're a kid and you draw the sunlight as yellow usually.
Orange doesn't have any meaning for me.
Dark purple is gloominess, but light purple is hope.
