Oh, and daijoubu is a na-adjective, so the proper negative would be "daijoubu dewa nai" or "daijoubu ja nai". "Daijoubanai" comes from the mistaken presumption that it's an u-verb... but I guess people thought it was cute so it stuck on as slang :)
Yes... that is why it is in my Eihongo vocabulary, because it is incorrect usage. I noted that a Japanese person came up with it, I think... Well, actually, he could've stolen it from FF X-2... it was out in Japan when he said it. Similarly, kirekunai was an example Hayashi-sensei gave in 330 last semester (don't remember why... maybe you do?)
Rikku is pretty messed up. But I never played the Japanese one (and not FF X-2 at all). I added you to my friends list too. I did eventually figure out why you were looking at my website, too :)
