You know, for a long time I've been thinking about how cool it would be to write language-teaching software that analyzes how good the learner is at specific words, or grammar patterns, or whatever, and then creates customized exercises so the learner can improve in an organized way. That's not the same thing, but it's kinda related. ^^
Yeah... what would be really cool is if it could somehow figure out relationships between those words and grammar structures that have been learned properly and try and tie them to new ones. I'm not exactly sure that's always possible, but it's a nice thought. I was also thinking something that might be cool would be doing something like
正しい発音を身につけよう Let's attach the correct pronunciation to the (word) body
That way every time something got translated, you'd know what part everything came from.
