Tis me Ian here, just a note to say I found your little corner of the web and that I have that thing you requested for your friend, only its not quite what I thought I'd get, its a little, whats the easiest way to say this, bigger than just a normal poster.

Two reasons for the add request:

1 - you are already a friend of is_not_well and kathbad so I trust our mutual friend's good taste

and

2 - I need to get this answered:

"Do fish sneeze and, if they do, does it make them swim backwards?"

GRIN

Actually there was a third reason and it was my simple nosiness about this one sentence - "Abbess and founder of the Austere Order of Saint Sinsemilla, a closed order of rubber-clad, scourge-wielding, dominatrix nuns." I mean with a snetnece like that you just gotta have questions!! :o)

Sure. :)

2) According to a marine biologist I met at Whitby Gothic Weekend fish cannot actually sneeze as they do not have nasal passages. But he recommended I tell the enquirer that its all true and that if they fart it propells them forwards again. ;)

You might be able to tell from my user bio that I don't exactly take life seriously...! :)

Thanks - will go an officially add you now (see, I even read the rules first ;o) ).

... and does that mean, then, that if a fish farts AND sneezes at teh same time (assuming that it had nasal passages) that it would stay still? :D

..... or would it explode? I think that the 'sushi' answer is correct, simply because it would make a better visual.

I think that if a fish both farts and sneezes simultaneously then the effects may well transcend the space/time continuum as we know it. ;)
