We had a thunder and lightning storm last night, and it cut the power to the entire apartment complex. Thankfully, I had some candles so wasn't in the dark for long, but I was also on a phone call

I almost expected to get a call a few minutes later because you had run to your car and stuck your phone in your car charger out of desperation.

I was scared to go in the hallway and outside! (lame, I know)

The block around us had lost power too, which is *possibly* why ComEd took so long to fix things, but it was -dark-.

I am an utter wimp. Ugh.

And... I just broke my phone getting out of the pool, basically. In the women's locker room. Dropped it in a puddle of the pool water I'd tracked in.

I will call as soon as I have a phone.

Additionally, I have no internet at home because I was "illegally" tethering my iPhone to my computer.

Seriously, my phone karma over the past 3 months has been terrible.
