[Trans] DREAM BOYS press coverage+news
In case someone still doesn’t know it, I’m a Dream Boys freak lover. This means, I’ve spent the last 2-3 days reading fanreports, interviews, tidbits XD I'm collecting what I translated when requested + some other articles, so mind that the English used may sometimes not be perfect. Also, I translated only parts of the articles.
Here I post a compilation of news, tweets, etc that talk about the first 3 days of Dream boys. For the fanreports, I'll do another post maybe.

NEWS/ARTICLES ABOUT DBS
-An article/interview to Makoto Tsubasa (Asahi newspaper) (the younger actress).
She talks about the story, how it's a very entertainment-oriented stage (circus scene, dance, sing, act, etc) and the co-stars. She has acted five times in Dream Boys and she's really impressed by Johnny's boys. Her character on stage is a strong one, that plays and toys with the three boys (Kazuya, Koki, Yuichi). Also, she comments about how she has seen in these years the boys growing from students to men, how they became young people with a dream", which means, "dream boys", exactly like this show.
"Kamenashi-kun shows ability as a leader, Tanaka Koki-kun reacts/catch firmly such a Kamenashi-kun (meaning he backs him up, follows him) and Nakamaru-kun that joined this time seems he'll create a new style. They have a high pro consciousness, they have the sense of responsibility of being idols since when they were young. I remove my hat on such a fact (=their pro consciousness+sense of responsibility)"
She admires each one's talents and their capacity of use them skillfully, so to keep a top position, whichas a fact requires lots of strength. She also admires how Johnny's are too fast in learning choreography, so much that when she had to learn one too felt like she was slowing down the others.

2 years after the last show, Kamenashi showed a new flying, transmitted by the Chinese acrobats, called 「険勝好運舞空大回転」 (meaning: adjoining in the peril, great flying rotations flying in the sky with one's characteristic power". It's a great art that takes the bungee jump technique, for which it's indispensable abdominal muscles and arms' power. The degree of difficulty is high, even pro acrobats learn it in more than 4 months, but kamenashi mastered it in 20 days.
Kamenashi, who is even not good with roller coasters, said "honestly, up until now this time I am scared most. But I must do it. I'm doing it feeling the responsibility of being the 100th anniversary. It's the strongest 'dream boys' of history".
Johnny Kitagawa-shi hinted that "even bringing it outside Japan, I think it will be appreciated".

When Kame announced his body weight loss, Koki commented: "Time next month and you'll become bones and skin!", so Kamenashi with a smile warned himself: "I must eat".
Also, Kamenashi with a deeply emotive expression proudly and carrying the responsibility of the completely sold-out tickets, said "it's
appropriate for the Imperial Theatre's 100th anniversary, it's the strongest "Dream boys" of history".

Johnny Kitagawa showed his desire of bringing the show outside Japan, saying "Even bringing it to America will be appreciated. Guessing next year, I want to do it."

The name of the new flying is 険勝好運舞空大回転. The instructors that taught him were the acrobats from Hebei, China, gave this name including the meaning of "KATSU-UN 勝・運", the KAT-TUN name changed into kanji. Even for acrobats it's a stunt that requires 4 months at minimum, but Kamenashi with his excellent reflexes in just 20 days of practice succeeded in even the superior technique of spinning in sequence without landing, knocked out of their wits the acrobats.
There's also the heavy mental pressure that if making a mistake, it's impossible to go back to the starting point. Even Kamenashi, that since the first time he acted in this in 2004 experienced a variegated number of flyings, was frank and said: "Honestly, this is the scariest one". Also revealed how hard is it, saying "before the practice my body weight was 64kg, now I became 59,2kg".
Also Kitagawa was impressed. "There aren't many showbiz personalities (talento) that they themselves challenge so far. Even bringing it to America it would be appreciated. I'm confident.". He boldly said of introducing it into America, the home of musicals. "I guess next year, I want to go", he said without holding his feelings.
Kamenashi also expressed the pressure of being compared to other flying people "Also staff-san here and there says "(Domoto)Koichi-kun would do this, Tackey would do that"...", and expressed literally "To be on the 100th anniversary stage such a resolution is needed. I want to give my best with all my body".

2 - About the flying name, Kamenashi: "I couldn't remember it, so Koki learnt it for me!" and so Koki said fluently "険勝好運舞空大回転. (I said it perfectly!" (in katakana the reading: shen shun hao yun uu kon da hoe chuwan. So Koki says, I don't know the official Chinese translitteration XD).
3 - Even among all (the ones he has) challenged until now, "Honestly, this is the one I'm most afraid of". It seems he mastered in 20 days the arts that the acrobats learn in 4 months. "since I have to do them, I repeated them many times, even hitting (=hurting myself) without reaching the bar". It's for him a breath-taking performance that tests greatly the body strength.

Before someone misunderstands: as it's written the fact that DBS may be brought to America is "an implication", and something Kitagawa is willing to do, BUT this doesn't mean it's official, on the contrary, it's still a project/rumor.
