It’s been a long time. I’m really looking forward to be able to meet you after 2 years! The fact that last year there hasn’t been a live was huge and inside of me the balance crumbled. Now I want us to share the same time, I want to create a time we can enjoy… “Let’s make some noise together!”, I really want it so bad! For the time being the result of our priority, that is creating the conditions and the way to meet everyone in the shortest time, will start in February, but my feelings are “I want to meet everyone right away!”. Moreover during the last tour, due to the fact that the back [T/N: the situation behind them, the atmosphere not visible from the audience’s point of view] wasn’t stable and my/our feelings were just “I must do something for the group!”, I ended up being concerned and doing [the tour] like that. Now I’ve calmed down about that fact, and I think we can express more the KAT-TUN style and our personal nature. I’ve also tied up with the members with a bond stronger than the past which has a +alpha in it… Maybe this is included in the tour title “CHAIN” too. Since we’re planning to make a direction that will make all of you make a lot of noise, let’s make some noise! Let’s create a time we’ll surely never forget! …come here already!

When do you feel the “bond” with the fans most?
During lives, especially the second half. Lives are similar to dates, and the more the moment of goodbye approaches the stronger the feeling of not wanting to part becomes. I always feel “Ah, I don’t want to end it…”. This exactly because at the beginning of the live we attack intensely, and the last one I want that we become reciprocally “I don’t want to say bye bye…”. I feel these feelings every live, and I want to keep them dear every time.

To begin with, I’ll make merry! (laughs) I want you to look forward not only to the cool side, but also to the merry side. I feel it the most during lives. During lives I look at the members a lot. In part is to create a balance, but when I see the members’ happy faces or our eyes meet, my tension inevitably raises. About unison, there are many parts I harmonize with Nakamaru and singing it feels good… I feel like this feeling is getting deeper every year more.

We made you wait! Last year there wasn’t a concert, it was really long! It was like an event that’s an every year established custom came off, the sense of incongruity was incredible. Although I was able to focus on many things, inside of me it was like a hole had been opened. It doesn’t mean that the connection with all of you disappeared, but for the whole last year there had been no chance to feel that connection, and the fact of not being able to do something together with all the members, for me has been really huge. At the point that the start planned for this February looks far away. But it can’t be helped, right… because it’s not that’s someone’s fault. When I read the responses by everyone when I ask for applications at the radio, or reading the impressions written via mail to TV programs we appear on. I like reading everyone’s impressions. Of course I feel this bond also when I can touch in close proximity the audience during live of stage plays. Not only this, but [even if] they aren’t in front of me, when I understand that they are reacting to what we’re doing I think “they’re observing us closely” and I become happier, I can actual feel that they’re supporting us. I’m thankful if the content is if possible a praise (laughs). It becomes a reason for me to give my best even more.

Finally the live were decided! Many ideas about what to do for this live were floating. Since both the song and the direction are accumulated, in this live I want to bring out my full heart’s content. Doing the standard songs live like they are is fun, but I want to challenge a way to express I haven’t done until now and we plan to fix and compensate to the standard songs. Not only I want to put up an exhibition that makes everyone happy, also for the part that we made you wait, but I want to do something new. I talked with the members and we plan to go for that balance. We’ll tour 12 places and until now it’s the highest number, so I must prepare and train for the live in order to match at full force with all of those! Recently I’ve started feeling my body a bit heavy, before the real shows I’m going to build it up properly. As the tour title “CHAIN” says, I want to make it a live that conveys the bond between KAT-TUN and all of you. “chain reaction” has the meaning of a reaction chain. For this reason it would be great if we make this live a chance and create a chain reaction with all of you and KAT-TUN, and both of us could go to the next stage.

Lives! In this, the opening.
