Doctor Who on the big screen?
Cult British sci-fi series Doctor Who is heading back to cinemas for the first time in more than 40 years, according to a writer on the hit show.
Steven Moffat, who pens the scripts for the BBC series, insists that producers are eyeing another big screen version of the programme - which currently stars Scottish actor David Tennant in the lead ( Read more... ) -

Don't like the idea that Stargate Atlantis has been canceled after the season 5 run. But then again, it's just a TV show, and it looks like there will be made "direct to DVD movies" after the season has ended. Hopefully we'll see our "team" during next year as well, just not as a TV show.

This week has been fairly quiet at work. And when we need something, that thing gets broken. The smoking machine (where we smoke salmon) is busted. Due to the cause of the person who cleans up after us, he hoses down the entire place and water gets in everywhere. So when I arrived at work today (at 06.35 AM!) the machine was not working. Controversial comedian George Carlin has died. He was 71.
The star, known for his edgy and provocative stand up routines, died of heart failure at a Los Angeles hospital on Sunday.
