So, I got back from America four days ago and have finally had time to update. I am far to lazy to put my photos up on Photobucket yet, so I'll follow this up with a photo entry pretty soon.

American security is SCARY. To get into the country, they gave me this green form temporary Visa thing, which I had to sign but it was... weird. I had to say ( Read more... )

Welcome back! And good luck with your results! Post Offices are so stupid these days - I once received a postcard sent in early August halfway through September...

Oooh, I'm glad you liked my postcards! There's one more still to come - from NYC! It's not as extensive as the last two since I had so little time to write it.

I don't know, I think my accent just seemed to... mark me out as a tourist I suppose. People very obviously go, "Oh, you're from England?" when you talk. The art project is as of yet unifinished, though I took a bunch of photos while I was in the US that I can stick in. I'm probably best as just using an old fashioned pencil-and-paper method, but I'm getting to like using acrylic more and more. And kayaking is wonderfully relaxing. It's like strolling, but in a boat.

And thanks about the exam results! It would kind of be nice to get them before I actually start school again...

nice that you had a nice time in the u.s. despite some rough spots. i don't think the food here tastes plastic, but of course i'm from here so maybe i'm biased.

Yeah I mean it probably just doesn't agree with me, you know? Or maybe I just ate really crappy food...
