I want a chip in my brain which means that every time I think 'ooh I should talk about that on LJ' it writes a little note for me on my computer that comes up whenever I visit the 'Post an Entry' page. Because I get the impression that I have a lot to update about only whenever I get to the point of actually writing about it,

I read Star Trek books. In fact, Peter David is one of my favourite authors. ^-^

Oh, and have you seen Star Trek: Of Gods and Men? It's quite badly acted, but it has some genuine Trek actors in it and it's quite fun...

It was the book by Neil Gaiman yes, but I just went to give you the link but the book was only free for a limited time. But, if you go to www.mousecircus.com you can listen to Mr Gaiman himself read aloud the whole of his new book, The Graveyard Book, which I totally recommend doing.
Oh and I saw your comments above and I am SO excited about the new Star Trek film. It looks amazing, and what a cast! And yes, sci fi girls are hugely rare, so yay!

Oh my gosh, we look so YOUNG! (And I, very very chubby.) Wow... I was TWELVE. TWELVE. And you were FOURTEEN.

Ahh, your part in the play sounds so wonderfully amusing! You'd make an awesome Luna- although male I have trouble imagining!
Edward IV does sound, in fact, rather dashing. And I have a huge crush on Tchaikovsky (just... don't ask), so it's very understandable, if you ask me! I think haveing sruches on historical figures is better than getting a cruch on an actor from an old movie and then seeing a picture of them now and they're old and fat and ugly... (*cough*Han Solo, Westley, Bernardo*cough*)

Oh my, I have SO done that with old film actors! Anthony Perkins in Psycho and Malcolm Macdowell in his A Clockwork Orange and If.... days in the sixties...
Edward IV was amazing. He spurned a political marriage with a member of the French nobility and married woman far below his station. Because he was THAT romantic and wonderful.
