Makeovers! Massages! (Don't know WHAT a corsage is!)

EEEEEEEE I went and saw High School Musical 3 yesterday because I am a complete sucker for cheesy Disney pop and it was amazing! Oh man, this film actually had a budget and like right from the beginning you could totally tell that it was different - it was all shot in a far more professional way that the last two, much as I love them.

Aw man, and normally Troyella really irritates me as a pairing but they just did it so well and it was all really cute and adorable - as was Chad asking Taylor to the prom! LOLZ boys are so awkward. Yeah, so they go to prom in this film and all the dresses were awesome (apart from Gabi's - she was wearing a lampshade) and oh man, I think the reason I love these films may be because of the costumes. Especially Ryan's, because he is just the campest most awesome hat-wearing colour-coordinated boy ever. He ends up asking Kelsi (cute little pianist girl) to the prom, but obv. only as friends because come on he is such a coded gay character. And don't let me hear anyone denying it - in one scene he's wearing this sweater vest tucked into shorts with knee-length socks, and in another he wears hot pink trousers, a leather blazer and a black trilby. Oh my.

There was this randomly annoying English girl in it playing Sharpay's PA and once again I have lost all faith in American cinema portraying English people properly. She's ridiculously posh, a snob, bitchy, and I hated her more than Sharpay. Ugh.

Oh, and Troy got to sing another ANGRY SONG a la 'Bet on it' only it's really trippy and he's shirtless through most of it. Oh, and he spent most of the film sweating so far as I can tell. It's like they oiled him up before every take.

And there's this adorable bit where Chad and Troy are singing about how they miss being young 'cause it was simpler and they played pretend games in a car junkyard (and their parents let them do this?) but they turn into mini-Troy and mini-Chad and they're like six and sooooo cute! My row may have screamed when it happened.

Basically this whole film was cheesy and wonderful and left me with a happy feeling inside and a little bit more in love with Ryan. If you remain unconvinced, then:
