There's going to be an interesting bit with Pete and Jackie. :D And it's going to be another long chapter. >.< My muse keeps informing me that no I can't end it here because the story isn't over yet, and I had to get some really great angst in this next bit and I wanted to take a look at River Song, because my conception of her is a bit different than canon.
Part 6 will probably be up Wednesday along with the epilogue because, as it is, there's almost zero chance I will finish it tonight. I've got a good start, but there are too many scenes left (including the smut, which is actually next on my list to write). :D
Woot! Glad to hear we will see some of Pete's comeupins. Not to give your muse caffeine, but, if I were in Jackie's shoes, the big questions on my mind would be 1) did he use that thing to MAKE me love him and 1) even if it couldn't do that, if it could have, WOULD he have done so given he was so willing to mindfuck everyone else. Not to mention that Pete would have all sorts of "good" reasons for this because real villains dont just wake up and say "I think I'll do evil today". ( thanks R.A. Salvatore)
I'm thinking Wednesday! I've got the last chapter mostly finished but I still have to write the smuts and a few scenes I decided to go back and tweek. :D
I think I'm one of the few who gets a guilty-pleasure from seeing au!Pete as the bad guy. Now, don't get me wrong, in CANON there is nothing but rainbows and butterflies and happy endings for Pete/Jackie and Tentoo/Rose. But in fic? There's just something so fun about making au!Pete the baddie

I LOVED the conversation between Rose and John. The explanation and what happened was brilliant!
And TIME LOCKED was PERFECT.
And poor Doctor, thinking he was hallucinating. *wibble*
Isi needs to hurry up and post soon~.
Also, I'd just like to, once again, point out: I KNEW IT. I KNEW IT WOULDN'T BE THE LAST CHAPTER!!!

Jackie Tyler is one of my favorite secondary characters. She's totally the Doctor's mom and her slap is DEADLY.
TIME LOCKED just worked out so well. :D I saw an image of a woman holding a phone with I AM _ _ _ _ LOCKED and I had to write that scene.
Like I said, probably Wednesday. :D
