I'm reviewing this one everywhere because...yeah, it's that good! I love everything you've done with Susan. The Time War and Tardis explanation along with her regeneration were all super powerful. The post apocalyptic world that was Pete's World super dark but an excellent background to this story. I'm very excited to see you build on Rose and Susan's relationship and read more about how they get back. Super good job Isi!

Thank you KK! :D This is a rather dark story, even for me--but there's a happy ending in the works, I promise.

Aaaaaaand I'm hooked! Haven't even watched Classic Who, and I want more of this.

Classic Who is interesting. 'City of Death' is awesome because Four and Romana II are ADORABLE but there are some stories (like 'The Leisure Hive') which are large quantities of WTF? And also hilarity. Nothing is quite as amusing as seeing people in poorly-made reptile costumes speak with posh British accents and be super polite to other aliens with slightly better makeup. XP

Ha. I've gone back and forth on whether I want to watch--I'm definitely curious, and I definitely like when the current show does throwbacks (and I have Tumblr or Wikipedia to explain what they are!), and I do want to see more of Sarah Jane, Romana, and Ace at the very least. Also Four and Five. And maybe Susan. And the Brigadier. And basically I do feel like I want to keep exploring this wonderful 'verse.

But on the other hand, I don't know that I have time to get into several decades of canon. Six seasons plus Torchwood and then a crapload of fandom pretty much ate my entire summer...

Plus, I once asked my dad if I should watch the original "Star Trek" series, having so enjoyed the most recent movie. He said I'd laugh at the special effects and be offended by the gender stereotyping, so probably not. I know Who has had its share of kickass ladies in the past (and wouldn't dare minimize Uhura's significance!) but I suspect that description might apply as often as not...(though do correct me where I'm wrong)

There's a fair bit of laughter going on when I watch Classic Who (and also occasionally drinking and liveblogging on tumblr because it's hilarious), not gonna lie. But they're interesting episodes and if you refer back to Classic Who you can make your own stories so much richer.

I started watching because I have several stories in the works that either feature Classic Who characters or take place during the part of the Doctor's Timeline that Classic Who embodies. While the special effects are, well, not what I'm used to and some of the episodes are rather more funny than moving, I still think it's a good idea to watch it. :D Netflix has a bunch of Classic Who available on instant streaming and that's just dead handy.
