Tragedy at the barn

Today I went out to the barn with Mark and some friends to film the demolition of an old goat barn that was being taken down. I couldn't help with the work because of my back, but I had brought food to prepare on the grill. During a lull in the work, I took someone down to the stable to meet the horses. There I made a terrible discovery.

My heart breaks for you and the people who loved her. I have had a similar thing happen to a cherished alpaca, Adama, and it was crushing.

She looks a bit like our gelding, Jester who is approaching 20 years old.
It truly was a sad day at the barn.
