As I remember it, the US went into Iraq the first time because IRAQ INVADED a sovereign country to the South (Kuwait) and brutally occupied their nation, to get them out ( ... )

"had to do something"

it's wondeful that you've become even more conservative and patroidiotic. good for you.

bite me.
I am living in canada and i talk to candians. Believe me, the folks you knew in windosr may like your point of view...ahh you know what? i don't even have the energy to argue with you.

none of what you said refuted the fact the invasion was illegal, disgusting and considered to be generally a shameful addition to what was already quite a catastrophe.

stop dropping your two cents on my journal, they are always the same justications of atrocities.
it is boring and predictable, until you can take stock and admit at least on here to the many facets of this crisis, you may no longer bother me with your presence.

ciao.

So, in your opinion, the crimes of Saddam were perfectly acceptable?
That no one should have stopped him?
That the Hitler's and Stalin's of this world should not be challenged?
Blood thirsty murderers, rapists, and purveyors of atrocities like: Gairy, Ceaucescu, Saddam, Idi Amin, Bokassa, and Slobodan Milosevic should be allowed to "Ethnic Cleanse" at will?

Sorry, I don't think I would like to live in a world like that...
and don't worry, I shall not burden you further with my conscience and "two cents" any longer! Actually I am not considered conservative at all by my friends, but I DO know the difference between RIGHT and WRONG, and can readily discriminate between the two...

This madness will end up with the people in the big countries eating well and sending the kids to school, while the people in the little countries will starve and be shot at and taken over for their natural resources ( ... )

I am also glad I didn't read the comments in this thread before writing what I have. You know egypt is under permanent martial law, don't you?

And I pose a possibily irrelevant question (being unedumacated me and all) -

Is ecoterrorism a crime?

I haven't even thought about it until now, so I must thank you for the moment of critical thought. Always appreciate your opinions and thoughts. God bless you.
