Living in America, I understand your thoughts. Your words are similar to many people who grew up listening to stories of their parents who were hippies growing up in San Fransisco, CA. It is the government, in conjunction with the media, which is doing this to Americans at large. You will want to watch the movie Bowling for Columbine.
