Just an update on what's going on in Wanna Land

Well, Boston is not what I had expected. I thought that I would love it here in the city and have tons of fun. This regrettably is not the case. Nothing is what I thought it was going to be. Not the location, not the people, not my job. My mentality coming to Boston, especially the Kenmore area, was yea.... in the city there are things to do ( Read more... )

You are one of the friendliest people I have ever met, even though I have only really hung out with you once, I feel like I know you, mostly because you seem to be going through the same thing that happened to me. All I can tell you is things get better, perhaps you should plan a "thanks for taking me out and letting me share your house" outing soon. Like a night at a cool restaurant where maybe you can get to know them a little better. Its hard being the new girl when people are already tight. If that doesnt work, screw 'em and look into some sort of runners club where you can meet new people.

I will answer about the job situation later.

Email me anytime...Do you have my #?

well, after living with you for a year, i feel i am adequately prepared to answer the first question. you are the least unapproachable person i know. i'm not sure how you can keep people at arm's length when you're always there to cheer someone up or help them with their problems. as far as the girls you're living with, maybe there's a class you could take, or a group you could join or something. i know my mom used to take classes at a ceramics painting place, it's at least a way to meet people. also, if you have 3-day weekends and such, you should come to troy for a weekend, and visit the lovely people here. don't let yourself get depressed, you're so much better than that. you're one of the best people i know, and you're worth more than this. as far as the second question on job stuff, i haven't the experience to tell you what to do. but anytime you want someone to talk to, either im or call me. i'll always be there for you. :-)

BAH!!!! There is absolutely no way you can let that idea get into your head because it is SO very untrue. Also....HEY....ANYtime you're lonely, feel MORE than free to give me a call or im and say *hey....lets go out.* We haven't realllly talked since Alum. Weekend and I miss you! We could roam around Boston or some such craziness!! I'm only 30-45 minutes away from ya....and would love to see/hang out with you! So you just say the words ok? I have class on Tuesday and Thursday nights for the rest of the summer but other than that, seriously....just say the words. You should have seen me when I first moved back home here from RPI .... I was a mess. Hated being so lonely....I felt that same way that you're explaining. So we'll take care of that. (978) 877 0651 --> cell phone number....feel free to use it whenever you like ok?
