Personality: Isis is a very peculiar person. Her mother worries about her, although Isis all but denies her mother’s existence --this will be explained later. Ever since she was born she’s had a tendency for the darker things in life. Often, she would examine the dead birds that hit her families home in the posh side of London. She finds death a fascinating subject. A very strange girl as a child and even more so as she entered her teenage years. Most people find her aloof and strange, this is mostly because Isis is not a people person. She is a very self sufficient person and prefers it that way. She doesn’t make any effort to befriend others. Although she does enjoy watching people from a distance, she find that under any given circumstance human nature can be fascinating.
Isis is also sadistic. She takes much pleasure from the discomfort and pain of others. If one where to get badly injured while falling down the steps? Isis would find that priceless and wish she could have been there to see the act. This is also a reason why she doesn’t have many friends.
Another factor of Isis’s personality is her need to control. She has to be in control of anything that involves herself. When things get out of control, she panics and is at a loss of what do to. She needs to at least have a say in anything that directly effects herself. She gets almost paranoid about it.
Isis has a very strong dislike for animals. She only tolerates her owl, since it brings her things it’s useful for communication to the outside world, like her Father. One reason why she hates CoMC. She finds animals filthy and disgusting.
Strengths: Both magical and personality:
Magical: Isis is very good at Charms and Potions. She likes Charms because it is the basis for learning how to properly hex or curse someone. Not that she would actually be doing such a thing to her peers, much… She deems it necessary for herself to be accomplished in so she does well in it to satisfy herself. She likes Potions because of the control is lets the maker to have. She has complete control over how the Potion is made and how it is works. Also she loves the concept of Poisons and Antidotes.
Personality: Isis has very, very few actual friends, but when someone does gain that friendship with her, she is very loyal to them. She would do them favors that she wouldn’t do for others, as long as she gets favors in return from her friends she is content. Isis is also good at manipulating others to do what she wants, at least that what Isis likes to thing she’s doing, but in reality she is probably scaring them into doing what she wants… For example, Isis pretends, if the occasion calls for it, she can do voodoo, but she only wishes she could. This, if the right person was being told this, might scare them. Ariel, her little sister, finds her older sister quite terrifying and Isis uses this to her advantage. Although she really does, deep down, love her sister, she finds her young mind and vivid imagination easy to manipulate. One time when Isis was 14, her little sister asked her if she was a Vampire. Isis replied, “Maybe I am. Maybe I’m not.” Then she proceeded to snarl at her little sister and snap her teeth at her. Isis is not a Vampire, at all, but she find that her sister thought she was amusing.
Weaknesses: Both magical and personality:
Magical: Isis a complete failure at Herbology and History of Magic. The whole concept of studying history is lost on her. She thinks what is happening in the present is the most important thing. She thinks Divination is a load of crap. She thinks learning Voodoo would be a much better use of class time then studying tea leaves in the bottom of a tea cup.
Personality: Isis takes enjoyment in others suffering. That is not on, at least for normal people. She also takes advantage of those weaker then her, like her little sister. Another example, if Isis were to see a little first year Hufflepuff who is very lost and has not a clue in the world, Isis would find it humorous to tell the first year all the wrong directions with a smile on her face. Also, because Isis is on the sinister side, she doesn’t have very many friends, but Isis is unfazed by it. She thinks too much emotional attachment you have to someone, the weaker you are. Her only exception to this rule is her father, Claude, and her little sister, Ariel. Although Isis isn’t the biggest fan of her sister’s devotion to their mother.

History:
Isis was born to Claude and Vanessa Redington in London, England. Claude is a Cursebreaker for Gringotts and is currently working in Egypt. He has always been fascinated by Ancient Egypt, hence why he got Vanessa to agreeing to naming their firstborn Isis, after the Egyptian goddess of fertility. Isis finds that a little weird she was named after that goddess, but is a stoic about it and just goes with it. Claude’s family brought in a ton of gold in the last two generations by extremely smart investing and a tab of good luck, “New Money” if you will. Claude only is a Cursebreaker for the appeal and adventure it offers him. Vanessa is a socialite, as she can afford to be. She was a Lexington, but their family troubles and everything made Vanessa want to leave as soon as possible. She decided the best way to do as such was to marry into money. Claude was the perfect candidate: rich and pureblood. Claude, not knowing any better, thought Vanessa was the greatest and married her right away. As Claude is out of the country more often then not, Vanessa’s true colors really start to show. She has been known to cheat on her husband in his absence. Her youngest daughter, Ariel, is oblivious. Isis, on the other hand, knows or is, at the very least, suspicious of it. Although she may know something, she ignores it. Ariel and Isis were raised by a nanny, as Vanessa isn’t the best mothering type and Claude is rarely home.
Although Claude is seldom home, he brings out the nicer side of Isis. Isis adores her father, he would always being back Ariel and her unique gifts and trinkets from the places he travels. She believes her father can do wrong, she same way Ariel believes their mother can do no wrong. She calls him “Daddy” and he calls him “his little Isis”. He is the reason that Isis turns a blind eye to her mother’s infidelity. If she were to tell her father about Vanessa, Claude would be crushed, at least in Isis’s mind. She doesn’t relies that Claude has his own suspicions (see secrets).
Ariel, Isis’s younger sister is small, blonde and naïve, not to mention sickeningly sweet. She believes anything her mother tells her and is very obedient. She thinks her mother is incapable of doing wrong. Isis thing Ariel is a little mad for thinking so highly of their mother and being the “angel“ of the family, but she still loves her nonetheless. She watches out for her even if doesn’t seem like it. Isis is good at hiding her emotions.
Because Isis always had strange dolls and toys from her father as a child, a fair share of Muggle children thought she was evil and capable of Voodoo. (This is where Isis got the idea of using pretend Voodoo to scare people.) This happened when the girl’s nanny would take them to Muggle parks in London. Isis loved it. She loved creeping out the Muggle children with her unusual toys and some of the stories her father would tell her.
Isis also knows about far more curses and hexes then she ought to. She doesn’t know how to do just about any of them, but she finds the knowledge of knowing about them a powerful thing. The reason she knows about these is because of her father’s job of being a Cursebreaker for Gringotts. Over the years he has picked up a few books about curses and hexes that have been used in Ancient times to protect things. He keeps the books in the Redington’s library for reference and study, but he is unaware that Isis has found them., as according to him, they are hidden. She’s memorized most of what she’s learned in the books just to keep in her head for herself. She’s like a walking library of random facts and the like. Isis isn’t one to share something she feels is important to her., like the random facts she learns from her father’s books.
Physical Description: At the least, provide base details of build, height, eye/hair colour, and complexion. Isis is tall around 5’8” with a thin, willowy frame. Her father, whenever he sees her and in letters too, always tells her to eat more. Isis finds food a mere trifle, a weakness even, and doesn’t eat as much as she should, only enough to keep a clean bill of health. She has long dark brown, almost black, hair that falls past her shoulders and a fringe that falls into her eyes, making her look even more sinister. Her skin is very pale, hence why Ariel thought she was a vampire when she was little. Her eyes are dark brown.

The hat then decided she should go into Slytherin… That and also she has the Slytherin traits that would make her go far in that house. It’s the only house that can let her excel at what she’s good. It’s a good fit.

Spotting a younger year up ahead who looked terribly confused, Isis grinned broadly and walked up to him. “Why hello there,” she said sweetly, putting her hand on his shoulder. Oh, this was going to be priceless. She continued to smile and look genuinely concerned for the first year‘s well being. “Are you lost?”
