I did gymnastics (semi-competitively!) until I was 14 and absolutely loved it! I say go for it if she enjoys it!

What did you read? I need something to distract me.

Yeah the big thing is for her to enjoy it. She honestly might be too young for this program but we will give it a try and see. I love that its longer because she has so much energy to burn. Plus, she's so competitive that I'd like to see her learn how to lose. Maybe that sounds weird but it would be good for her. She seems to feel that her winning something (everything) is an entitlement.

I've been reading Castle fic. Went through some award nominees and then read other stuff by those authors, then clicked their favorites links. It's fun stuff when done well.

I googled "castle award fic" and found a site with award nominated fics. Read them. Read other fics by the same authors. Now I'm reading fics they favorited. It's a lot better than wading through pit of voles aimlessly.
