Mission Info from "Reclamation Game"

 We just completed a four week mission arc in June that saw us trying to broker peace between two races while trying to keep their fingers off our technology. Sounds like a rather imeersive platform, that allows 'uncontrolled' adventure, a la table top, as opposed to the computer adjudicated MMORPGs that are out there, that everyone plays, but doesn't interact with each other.

It really is the same as a LARP or tabletop world in the end, you have GMs running things (CO & XO usually) but there is a lot of flexibility. You also can construct rather impressive sets and do a lot of things you never could in real life. It does take a lot of commitment and regular upkeep to keep things running, which again is similar to running a decent LARP or tabletop game. Sadly, and as is always the case, not everyone puts the regular work in. Some ships have better reputations than others...
