This is a songfic that I wrote a while ago, on the song "Guardian" by the singer Juanes. The song is in spanish (I added the original lyrics and the english translation in the fic), but it´s quite lovely, so you can look it up on Youtube to set the mood ;)

A lovely piece :). If it were in Tifa' s POV, it would make a lovely Mother's Day gift.

awwww, this is adorable. did you post this on ffnet before? It's so easy to imagine Cloud panicking at the idea of being a dad - and so easy to see that he'd be an amazing dad. Giving him a little girl was just perfect and why not Namine, right? Very sweet - now I'll have to find the song ;)

Oh yes, I love the song! Although it´s in Spanish, hopefully you will have no trouble following the translation (Or maybe you speak spanish? That would be YAY!)
And don´t you think that both Naminë and Kairi look an awful lot like a Cloud/Tifa mixture? XD

and - no. I don't speak a second language. Not through any fault of my French teachers who tried for three years. The only Spanish I speak is picked up from the girls I work with and that's mostly just how to say hello, goodbye, and no worries. siiiiigh, I keep telling myself I'll make it a point to learn more but so far, I speak about as much Japanese as I do Spanish (which means, just enough to make guests smile at how cute I'm being trying to stumble through their language).
