Who has heard about this??? This is bad. Really bad. If this thing gets passed (and I am certain it will, people never agreed with the exotic animal hobby) than we can say goodbye to the exotic industry in Florida. So, are they just going to ban humans from owning all of these animals now? This is just a prime example of how a few people can screw over everyone.

Nigel, I really don't know. I think I made it a bit more dramatized than it actually is. But, it still is a big deal, or atleast to people like me. Especially reptile dealers in Florida (like Glades Herp for example). As far as I know (and I know very little, nothing else has been posted or put in the news) is that they are banning Burmese Pythons and possibly the other "big 4" pythons, in what way I'm not exactly sure. All I know is what I wrote above. I guess a person who wants to known a giant snake needs to obtain a permit to be able to purchase and own one of these animals. I guess this law won't directly affect me, but I did have hopes to get a giant snake in the 'not-so-near-future', but I guess if I want to now, I'll have to go through the government. I think this who craziness is going to be very similar to the laws concerning the possesion of venomous snakes. You need a permit, and yada yada. It sucks. As far as I know Katy, frogs won't be included. I'm pretty sure this is just concerning large predatory animals like giant pythons. So there is nothing to worry about for you. I'll help you get the frog asap as soon as I'm back home. Promise. You'll get it, don't worry. I just made a big stink about this when I was writing, I didn't stop to think. Its bad, but not that bad. I just can't get the cool shit I eventually wanted, or I can, but not as easily. What can I say? I'm a selfish fuck. Oh well...
