Storm warning

Aug 31, 2012 22:18

By the look of the sea and the horizon, it is coming. If my instincts are right, it will hit this week. It will be a bad one.

I know you enjoy being in the ship, but that is the last place you want to be when this hits. I don't care where you go you can crash with me if you want but get the hell off that ship.

For a second there, I thought you were talking about my brother.

What are the chances it'll dislodge? I've got important stuff on that ship.

Why would I talk about that moron. He's not here.

That, I think you'd have to ask one of the data guys here. At lot of it depends on how strong the wind is and how high the waves get. However, for the time being, get your shit off the boat and put it somewhere until the storm blows over. You'll have a few days before it hits I think.

Because sometimes, when I visit home, I think to myself, "He's coming!" Also, "He will hit this week" and "It will be a bad one." Applicable, see?

Ugh. Might as well. Thought you might know, if you could predict weather like that.
My shit consists of the entire boat. What am I supposed to do if it sinks!?

I suppose so. But I won't be naming the storm after your brother. I won't give that asshole any more credit than he is due.

I only can because of where I've lived. Most Okinawans know how dangerous typhoons are and know how to spot the start of one on the horizon so we can start nailing out windows shut.

Really? The entire boat? If it sinks...and it probably will eventually, you just move on. Find a new haunted ship to play in. Because if you go down with it, I'm not diving in and rescuing you.
