Juliet's a little nervous.
Not because she's sitting in a therapist's office, no, she's done that before even on the island. When she was having an affair with the therapist's husband. So it's not the act of sitting in a stranger's space and telling them everything. It was that for the first time in her life, she was going to be telling someone the truth. The entire truth.
For the sake of someone understanding as much as they could about what they'd gone through, Erica helped Juliet track down a Fifth Column member who was a V and as it turned out, a psychotherapist. Her name was Doctor Vivian Bellinger, and Juliet has to wonder a little at why she picked a name like 'Bellinger' for herself as a last name.
She can't believe that's what she's thinking as she sits next to Joshua, the only hint that she's uncomfortable is the way she's sitting, straight and a little tense. But that would only be something noticeable to her husband (she hopes) unless a psychotherapist knows all of the usual tells.
"So, Juliet, Joshua." Bellinger smiles and Juliet knows there won't be any real turning back once they answer whatever this first question is.
"Tell me about your lives. Start with how you met."
Juliet can't help but try to remember first if this was strictly an hour long session or if it was billed by the hour because this story alone could take up all their time. When did she start? Where did she start? She decides to go with what's easiest.
"I used to be a mechanic. We met when he started working with me."
So it's not the whole story. But it's a start.
