[If you're somehow chilling around the island (or just wound up here for no good reason whatsoever), you're in for a treat! On a stage a little way away from the shore, it looks like a concert is currently in progress! A concert being held by a three foot tall yellow mongoose with purple hair, but hey, she at least has a pretty killer voice to ( Read more... )

[as an idol herself, Miku hates being upstaged. chalk it up to her naturally bratty attitude and this scene is kind of a recipe for disaster. why didn't she think of doing something like this when she first showed up on this rock?! ... well, of course, there's the whole "being preoccupied with the fact that you've suddenly shown up on a random tropical island for no reason" part of the situation, but. still.

so, she's walking up to Mina with a smile that has a subtle hint of disdain hidden inside it.]

What are you even supposed to be?

[so much for subtlety.]

[If it made Miku feel any better, Mina didn't exactly realize where she wound up yet; performing at Seaside Hill made transitioning to a tropical island out of nowhere seem less noticeable. Not that she would have stopped her show if she did-- that wouldn't have been very professional on her part.

That aside, the random pigtailed...human (could it be human? humans didn't have hair that color) approaching her was something of a surprise. Usually it was Mobians who attended her concerts, but she wasn't about to complain if her music was able to reach across species as well. She returns the smile with a guileless one of her own, hoping that she was only imagining the underlying hostility in the other girl's voice.]

I'm a Mobian! Or a mongoose, if you want me to be more specific.

Did you enjoy the concert?

[...huh. seems like the...other girl...had glossed over her lack of enthusiasm. one of those types, huh? this isn't anywhere remotely tied to what she recognizes as familiar, and she doubts there are any paparazzi to document her right now; a relief, really. now she doesn't have to put on the "adorable ditz" persona her managers had fabricated for her.]

A mongoose? Really?

I've heard better.
