I saw Pitingo for the first time last night when I was watching the election of the Carnaval Queen of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and he just knocked me out. He was the outstanding star of a marvellous, professional show. I kind of made a note to check who he was, and then I just flicked on the tv to catch the news and there he was again

Me, I love the passion. It's what flamenco and soul have in common. They come from the heart. You don't have to have a degree in music to appreciate the nuances.
