27 - video/action for Goldenrod;

Oct 13, 2011 19:12

[The video begins with a shot of a drooling Aerodactyl with bloodshot eyes and a bit of raw meat hanging out of her mouth. She's right in the corner of the room, hissing and growling. Fortunately, she isn't rushing forward to attack just yet. Instead, he's tearing through her meat like a wild animal, baring her fangs every once in a while... at ( Read more... )

Damn, you weren't kidding before 'bout her, were ya?

[He glances back over his shoulder at Basan, who - seems to be poking his head in a fairly big hole. A hole that's hissing occasionally.] Not sure I'd be able t'say much new; I seem to've gotten lucky on th'roulette wheel for personalities. worst this one's done is hang my boxers from a flagpole.

... That's it?

[Wow, Riku looks pretty surprised. And while Terror didn't understand half of what Heiji said, she lets out a loud hiss from her little corner.]

Terror's nothing like that. She'd rather tear someone's skin off than pull off pranks.

That and stealin' the tent poles at night when I'm tryin' t'sleep, yeah.

Least it looks like you've got one t'help keep'er in line ... [He frowns.] I wonder how close she is t'somethin' like a really big bird of prey? [What he knows so far is that they're fairly high-maintenance to train and occasionally dangerous to handle - even though the only person he knows back home with a hawk is ...not someone he's thrilled to talk to.]

[That noise in the background? It's almost like Basan's trying to grab something in the hole and whatever's in the hole isn't happy with that idea...there's growling in with the hissing.]

Sounds like something Phantom would do.

[Bahaha! That static sounding laughter from behind Riku... is probably Phantom, actually. He'll have to remember that one.

Riku rolls his eyes at his ridiculous ghost and turns back to the camera.]

Well, Highwind's like a bird of prey, and he's nowhere near as dangerous. Terror... basically lashes out at anything that gets too close to her. She's territorial, violent, and I have to use force to keep her in line.

[Pinkie spent a good moment staring at that rather horrifying creature- it was eating meat, after all, which is something she's possibly never seen before. She knows things eat meat, of course, knows by now that even humans do, but it's still horrible to see.]

Why don't you just keep it in its ball?

[She doesn't like the idea of forcing animals to live in little tiny balls, which is why she leaves Colonel Custard out basically all the time, but that creature seems to be pretty dangerous.]

That's what I usually do, but she's useful in battle, and I have to feed her sometimes.

[Because starving a vicious beast? Bad idea.]

You're right, not feeding her even if she's a grumpypants would be mean. Why is she like that?

I think that's just natural for her species. Aerodactyls are vicious predators, and she sure acts like one.

I got one! Anko's not... that violent, though. She gets kinda jealous easy and likes attention and gets all growly and bitey sometimes, but I haven't seen her all... wild [wavy hand-gesture here.]

...Yet. [Now he's worried.]

Lucky you. Terror acts like a wild animal 24/7, and she'll even attack people.

[He winces, as Terror lets out another hiss.]

Think she's on a different wavelength than the rest of my team.

[And she is, too! Her thought processes are simple and involve food, fighting, and violence. Yay.]

Have you tried scratching under her chin? When Anko starts throwing temper tantrums, I just have to scratch under there and she calms down. Maybe it'll work on Terror?

If I even get close to her, she tries to rip my arm off.

[Here, he'll prove it by stepping up to her, aaand-- RARGH!

Luckily, Riku's quick enough to jump back.]

And she's level 100. A bite from her leaves me with gashes, and that's if I'm lucky.

I heard about that stunt Xion pulled on Terror two days ago.

I tried to stop Xion, but she climbed up onto her back and wouldn't let go. If I put Terror back into her Pokéball, Xion would've been hurt.

[Because falling from extreme heights, doncha know?]

Why was Terror out in public in the first place? You know she isn't good with people.

I was planning on training her up a bit.

[He neglects to mention that he was going to buy some new TMs for her.]

They're real alright. Last year they were all over the place.

And Terror's... definitely a handful.

really?
that's...
well i am not sure what to think of that, actually. :/
what happened?

ah...well hopefully someone can help you with that.
a friend of mine had one but she's not around anymore.
actually, one of our other friends has the aerodactyl now.
but she has yet to complain about it an any way so i'm not sure if he's a handful too.

Place got all pixelated. Looked like a video game. Everything worked like one, too. Plus the same track kept looping everywhere.

So far, it seems like I'm the odd one out. Must've gotten a bad egg.
